, has an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Service Representative in the Ellsworth, Iowa area.
This position will work 8:
00 AM - 5:
00 PM, Monday - Friday in our climate controlled facility.
The Customer Service Representative will interact with BVS customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, providing a high level of customer support on all products and services within their territory.
This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with internal and external customers and works to establish a positive rapport with others.
BVS operates across eight states, providing innovative solutions and service to the animal health industry, primarily in the poultry and swine markets.
We partner with the world's highest quality manufacturers and provide custom manufactured products to empower animal producers to care for their animals at the most reasonable cost.
Responsibilities:
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on BVS products and services within assigned territory.
Greet customers and employees with a positive attitude.
Assists in responding to customer inquiries or transferring customers to appropriate personnel.
Coordinates the flow of information from customers to BVS employees and vice versa.
Maintains office supplies for facility and request items as needed from corporate office.
Build rapport with customers and respond to their needs in a timely manner.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
Communicate product and customer concerns to sales team or team members as needed.
Assist all departments in administrative tasks, projects, and planning.
Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
Enters orders in the system, checking accuracy of price, quantity, addresses and timeliness of the orders processed, post sales after processing and invoice customers.
Provide information of orders to customers.
Manages all order functions including current and past due invoices, back orders, returns.
Handles order entry and invoicing for promos, along with assisting sales representatives with communication to customers about promos.
Communicates with Sales, Warehousing, and Transportation departments to ensure correct products are scheduled to be delivered in a timely manner.
Works with Sales Representatives to determine and set appropriate pricing levels for customers in the system.
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries.
Expert in the navigation through ERP system to lookup orders, invoices, inventory, and allocations instantly while on the phone.
Responsible for reporting sales and inventory numbers to select vendors via various methods (EDI, online portals, file import/export).
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

years customer service experience required; 2
years preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
